Briar Hill Conditions

(1/1)

ccarman10:
Looking to do a ride at Briar Hill this Saturday but was unsure of the conditions.  Has anyone been out there since the storms that would know if the trails are clear enough to ride?

Thanks,

Chris

ironmark:
I was out there last week and things were pretty rideable overall.  There were at least 3 good sized trees down on the southeast section of trails that I had to stop, get off the bike, and walk over.  Other areas of trail just have general wood debris to small branches you could go around or kick off.  Some trail work with chainsaws is definitely in order to get everything passable again.  No trees were down on the north sections of trail.

UncaBuddha:
Just rode out there today.
Trails are in great shape, only one tree down that forces a dismount.

Flanderflop:
And that one tree has a sneak route down by the river. (Established trail not bushwack) That is assuming that we are all talking about the same tree.   In typical Briar Hill sytle there are some trees across in other places but they are flat to the ground and limb free so they are rideable, but difficult.

Trail conditions in general are more clear than I have seen in a while.
